The Florida Department of Environmental Protection’s Coral Reef Conservation Program (FDEP CRCP) would like to congratulate Jamie Monty on her promotion from Fishing, Diving and Other Uses Project Coordinator to Assistant CRCP Manager. Since starting with CRCP in 2008, she has been an invaluable asset to the program. In addition to Jamie’s education, experience, and dedication to the goals of the FDEP, CRCP, and the Southeast Florida Coral Reef Initiative, her genuine and warm nature when interacting with staff, partners and stakeholders made her the optimal choice for this position. Due to internal FDEP restructuring, Jamie has also recently taken on the additional responsibility of Acting Manager of the entire CRCP. We hope this will be a permanent placement for her, so please join us in congratulating Jamie on her expanding role with CRCP!
